Code of Conduct for Sensorwell

1. Introduction

Sensorwell is committed to environmentally and socially responsible corporate governance and will meet its customers’ expectations regarding ethical, social, and ecological responsibility. This Code of Conduct (CoC) outlines Sensorwell’s obligations as a supplier to ensure that all business practices align with the highest standards. Sensorwell will also ensure that its subcontractors comply with the standards outlined in this Code.

2. Commitments of Sensorwell

As a supplier and business partner, Sensorwell is committed to complying with all applicable national and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Fairness and Free Competition: Sensorwell is committed to respecting the principles of free competition and refrains from engaging in unfair business practices.
  • Prohibition of Money Laundering, Corruption, and Terrorist Financing: Sensorwell maintains a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of money laundering, corruption, and terrorist financing.
  • Compliance with Legal Requirements: Sensorwell complies with all applicable legal embargoes, sanctions, export controls, and customs regulations.
  • Compliance with RoHS and REACH Regulations: Sensorwell ensures compliance with RoHS and REACH regulations to protect human health and the environment.

2.1 Social Responsibility

  • Prohibition of Child Labor and Forced Labor: Sensorwell does not employ child labor in any area. The minimum age for employment complies with the requirements of ILO conventions. Forced labor or similar practices are strictly prohibited. All employment relationships are voluntary.
  • Fair Working Conditions: Sensorwell ensures that working conditions are fair and comply with national and international standards for occupational health and safety.
  • Non-Discrimination: Any form of discrimination against employees is strictly prohibited.

2.2 Environmental Responsibility

  • Responsible Use of Ecological Resources: Sensorwell is committed to the responsible use of natural resources and the continuous improvement of energy efficiency.
  • Handling of Conflict Minerals: Sensorwell and its subcontractors do not produce or sell products containing raw materials or minerals from conflict and high-risk areas.
  • Handling of Waste and Hazardous Substances: Sensorwell ensures that all waste and hazardous substances are handled, stored, and disposed of safely to avoid negative environmental impacts.

2.3 Data Protection and Handling of Trade Secrets

  • Sensorwell ensures the secure storage of documents and the protection of trade secrets.
  • Sensorwell is committed to maintaining confidentiality and protecting personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

3. Acknowledgment and Agreement

Sensorwell agrees to the establishment of this Code of Conduct and commits to adhering to all specified requirements and principles, ensuring that these are communicated to its subcontractors. Sensorwell will take all necessary measures to ensure the implementation of these requirements.

4. Additional Obligations

Sensorwell declares that no economic or financial sanctions have been imposed against the company on a national, European, or international level, and no embargoes have been placed against any individuals (employees, executives, owners) of the company.
